The galleries showcase my pictures that explore various photographic techniques to find ways to express and transform the essence of nature.  The choice of which image to capture is based intially on a visual response to abstract qualities and my emotional response to the environment in which they have evolved.  All my images are taken in raw format and processed using Adobe Photoshop.  Once the pictures are in the computer they begin a process of transformation into images in their own right without direct reference to the source.  The degree of transition may vary so that in some cases their origins might be perceived, or in others the connection may be less obvious.
